Culture, Open Source Interesting…
At a social gathering this past weekend, I was asked what I do for a living. When I explained that I worked for a web company that focuses on Open Source solutions, I was asked first "what's Open Source", and then I would almost inevitably be asked, "Why not just use Microsoft's stuff?"

Notably, it was an error that was quickly resolved. I won the error lottery, obviously, but it does beg the question, if Microsoft can't maintain their stuff, why should the rest of the world be expected to maintain it?
